August 2, 2017: Jeffrey S. Rabrich, DO, FACEP, has been appointed Medical Director for Emergency Medicine at Montefiore Nyack Hospital. Dr. Rabrich is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and subspecialty Boarded in EMS Medicine. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and member of the Emergency Medicine Faculty on the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners.
Dr. Rabrich joins Montefiore Nyack Hospital from St. Luke’s in New York City where he was Medical Director for the Level II Trauma Center. At Montefiore Nyack Hospital he will oversee operations for The Emergency Department which has over 60,000 visits annually making it one of the busiest in the lower Hudson Valley. Dr. Rabrich started his career in emergency medicine as a volunteer EMT and then full-time Paramedic which gives him the unique and invaluable perspective of understanding emergency medicine services from the point of incident through medical care in the hospital.
