Arthur M. Kozin, MD, FACP, FASN

Arthur M. Kozin, MD, FACP, FASN, is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, Subspecialty in Nephrology and the National Board of Medical Examiners. He is one of the original physicians that founded Rockland Renal Associates, a longstanding Nephrology Practice in the Rockland County Community, which has just recently joined Highland Medical, P.C.

Dr. Kozin received his medical doctorate from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY, he completed his Residency at Montefiore Hospital Medical Center in the Bronx, NY and his Fellowship in Nephrology at New York University Hospital, Bellevue Hospital in New York, NY. During his career, Dr. Kozin has been recognized as a Top Doctor by Castle Connolly from 1998 through 2018 and a Top Doctor Hudson Valley in 2007 and 2018.

Dr. Kozin has held many leadership positions at Montefiore Nyack Hospital in Nyack, NY including, Chairman of Nephrology Section, Chairman of Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, an elected member of the Medical Executive Committee, and is currently a Senior Attending Physician and the Chairman of the Peer Review Committee.

Dr. Kenneth S. Shapiro

Kenneth S. Shapiro, MD, FACP

Kenneth S. Shapiro, MD, FACP is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, Subspecialty in Nephrology and is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners. He is one of the original physicians that opened the doors at Rockland Renal Associates, a longstanding Nephrology Practice in the Rockland County Community, which has just recently joined Highland Medical, P.C. 

Dr. Shapiro received his Medical Doctorate from Rush Medical College in Chicago, IL and he completed his Internship and Residency at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY. He was a Clinical Fellow and Research Fellow in Renal Service at Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston, MA. Dr. Shapiro was an instructor in Medicine at Albany Medical Center.

Dr. Shapiro is a Senior Attending Physician at Montefiore Nyack Hospital.  He has held various positions including Co-Director of Emergency Services, Medical Director of Emergency Services, a member of the Medical Executive Committee and Chairman of the Disaster Committee. He has been a clinical investigator in clinical trials that have defied the treatment of diabetic kidney disease. For the past 20 years, he has been the Medical Director of the Renal Care of Rockland dialysis clinic.

Michal J. Tracz, MD

Michal J. Tracz, MD is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine with a subspecialty in Nephrology. Dr. Tracz specializes in Nephrology at Highland Medical, P.C., Rockland Renal Associates, a longstanding Nephrology Practice in the Rockland County Community, which has just recently joined Highland Medical, P.C. 

Dr. Tracz received his Medical Doctorate from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, School of Medicine in Stony Brook, NY. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine and his Fellowship in Nephrology at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota. He also worked in the laboratory of Dr. Karl Nath at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, NY on a Nephrology Research Training Grant. 

Dr. Tracz is an Attending Physician at Montefiore Nyack Hospital in Nyack, NY where is he is also a preceptor for third-year medical students. Dr. Tracz is fluent in English, Spanish, and Polish. 

Jonathan S. Wolf, MD

Jonathan S. Wolf, MD is a diplomate of the American Board of Nephrology, the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Critical Care Medicine and is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners. He specializes in Nephrology at Highland Medical, P.C., Rockland Renal Associates. Dr. Wolf is one of the original physicians who opened Rockland Renal Associates, a longstanding Nephrology and Internal Medicine Practice in the Rockland County Community, which has recently joined Highland Medical, P.C.

Dr. Wolf went to the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, MA and completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, MA. He completed his Clinical Fellowship and Research Fellowship in Renal Electrolyte at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. He was an instructor in Medicine Renal-Electrolyte Section at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA and an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at Westchester County Medical Center in Valhalla, NY.

Dr. Wolf is an Attending Physician at Montefiore Nyack Hospital in Nyack, NY. He is a member of The American College of Physicians, the International Society of Nephrology and the American Society of Nephrology.

Steven B. Yablon, MD

Steven B. Yablon, MD is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine with a subspecialty in Nephrology and Hypertension. Dr. Yablon specializes in Nephrology at Highland Medical, P.C., Rockland Renal Associates. He was one of the original physicians at Rockland Renal Associates, a longstanding Nephrology Practice in the Rockland County Community, which has just recently joined Highland Medical, P.C. 

Dr. Yablon received his Medical Doctorate from the New Jersey College of Medicine in Newark, NJ. He was an intern in Medicine and Assistant Resident in Medicine at Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston, MA and was a Renal Fellow at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA.

Dr. Yablon was the Section Chief of Nephrology and Hypertension and Director of Emergency Services at Montefiore Nyack Hospital, where he is still an attending physician.
