Magda Fulman, PharmD, BCPS
Dr. Fulman is a Clinical Pharmacy Manager and the PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Program Director at Montefiore Nyack Hospital. Prior to joining Montefiore Nyack Hospital, she was an Internal Medicine Clinical Coordinator and served as the PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency Program Director and Preceptor at Northwell Health Long Island Jewish Medical Center (LIJMC) in NY. Dr. Fulman takes special interest in educating pharmacy staff, residents, and students serving as a preceptor from multiple schools of pharmacy. Dr. Fulman is committed to patient safety and expansion of clinical pharmacy services by participating in many performance improvement projects, including pharmacy residency research projects. She is also involved in Acurity Clinical Committee and CE forum serving as the co-chair. Dr. Fulman is Board Certified in Pharmacotherapy and received her Doctor of Pharmacy at the St. John’s University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in NY. She completed an ASHP-accredited PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at LIJMC.
Daryl Schiller, MS, PharmD, BCPS AQ-ID
Dr. Schiller oversees clinical and operational activities as the Pharmacy Director at Montefiore Nyack Hospital. He previously held the position of Assistant Director for Clinical Services and PGY-1 Residency Program Director at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ where he was also the Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Infectious Diseases and Burn Trauma. He has been involved with numerous professional organizations at both the local and national levels including serving as President of the New Jersey Society of Health-System Pharmacists, a member of the ASHP Council on Therapeutics, a delegate in the ASHP House of Delegates, and a question writer for the Board of Pharmacy Specialists BCPS exam. He is Board Certified in Pharmacotherapy with Added Qualifications in Infectious Diseases. Dr. Schiller has 20 publications in peer-reviewed journals and numerous conference presentations including being an invited lecturer at national conferences as well as many regional pharmacy-, medicine-, and nursing based meetings. He received BS and MS degrees in pharmacology and immunology from SUNY Buffalo and a Doctorate in Pharmacy from Long Island University followed by a residency in Infectious Diseases at the James J Peters Bronx VA Medical Center. Under his direction, the Pharmacy Department at Montefiore Nyack Hospital has made great strides in expanding clinical pharmacy services and other medication safety processes.
Benoni Commodore, R.Ph, DPLA
Mr. Commodore is the Manager of Pharmacy Operations at Montefiore Nyack Hospital. He is a vital part in initiating operational changes facilitating efficient workflow within the department and throughout the organization. He serves as an Adjunct Experiential Faculty for Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in NY. Mr. Commodore takes an active role in precepting pharmacy students from different pharmacy schools. He also partners with the local adult education center as an instructor for pharmacy technician licensing course. He is a passionate advocate of adult immunizations and multiple outreach programs within the community. Prior to joining Montefiore Nyack Hospital, Mr. Commodore had experience working in a variety of settings including long term care, consulting, retail and home infusion. Mr. Commodore graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana. He also received a certification in Management Development from Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
Nirvana Awad, PharmD, BCPS
Dr. Nirvana Awad is a Clinical Staff Pharmacist at Montefiore Nyack Hospital. She is actively involved in patient care by participating in interdisciplinary rounds on the medical and surgical units, counseling patients, and performing medication reconciliation. Dr. Awad graduated from St. John’s University and received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree. She then completed her PGY-1 residency at Montefiore Nyack Hospital where she earned at teaching certificate from St. John’s University and has precepted students and residents. Dr. Awad is also a clinical Consultant Pharmacist and completes monthly medication reviews for geriatric patients in nursing homes. During her academic and professional career, she has presented at national and state pharmacy organizations including ASHP and NYSCHP. In addition to internal medicine, she also takes special interest in critical care and oncology. Dr. Awad serves as a preceptor for the internal medicine learning experiences.
Gaurav Bajaj, PharmD
Dr. Bajaj is an Informatics Pharmacist at Montefiore Nyack Hospital. Dr. Bajaj received his Doctor of Pharmacy at the Long Island University Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy in NY. Dr. Bajaj started working at Montefiore Nyack Hospital as a Staff Pharmacist and transitioned into the field of Health Informatics and has earned a Pharmacy Informatics Certificate through American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). Dr. Bajaj is He enjoys mentoring pharmacists, students and residents in the field of Pharmacy Informatics.
Jennifer Champagne, PharmD, BCPS
Dr. Champagne holds the position of Clinical Pharmacist at Montefiore Nyack Hospital. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the Midwestern University, College of Pharmacy – Glendale. Prior to joining Montefiore Nyack Hospital, Dr. Champagne worked at The Aroostook Medical Center in northern Maine. She also has extensive history working in a retail setting. Dr. Champagne specializes in internal medicine serves as a preceptor for the internal medicine learning experience. Dr. Champagne is actively involved in improving pharmacy workflow and optimizing department productivity.
Kelly Chan, PharmD, BCPS
Kelly Chan, PharmD holds the position of Clinical Pharmacist, specializing in critical care at Montefiore Nyack Hospital. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University at Buffalo, School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. She completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ. Prior to joining Montefiore Nyack Hospital, Dr. Chan worked at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Queens, NY. She is actively involved in the critical care services, rounding daily on patients in the medical and surgical critical care units and serves as the preceptor for the critical care learning experience.
Gloria Porcelli, Rph, BCOP
Mrs. Gloria Porcelli received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from St. John's University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in NY. She has been a hospital pharmacist with 20+ years of experience. She has exclusively been working in the area of oncology pharmacy since 2008. She is assistant professor of Oncology at Touro college of Pharmacy and precepts for multiple schools of pharmacy. Her professional interests include education, counseling and being an integral part of the oncology team. Mrs. Porcelli serves as the preceptor for the Ambulatory Care/Oncology learning experience.
Emmanuel Knight, PharmD, BCPS, BCGP
Dr. Knight earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 2011 from the University at Buffalo majoring in Biological Sciences with a concentration in pharmacology/toxicology. He then received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Touro College of Pharmacy in June 2015. After obtaining his PharmD degree, he completed one year of postgraduate training in academia as a Postdoctoral Academic Pharmacy Administration Fellow at Touro College of Pharmacy. In this position he learned how to effectively teach graduate level students and earned a teaching certificate. Dr. Knight completed his PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Nyack Hospital and is currently the Transitions of Care Clinical Specialist. Dr. Knight’s daily function includes patient education and med-to-bed program for patient with heart failure patients and COPD.
Laurance Rances, PharmD, BCPS
Dr. Rances is a Clinical Staff Pharmacist at Montefiore Nyack Hospital. Dr. Rances received his Bachelors of Sciences degree from the University of Buffalo and completed his Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Touro College of Pharmacy. Dr. Rances specializes in critical care and is involved in variety of pharmacy initiatives to include protocol development, immunization clinics, and patient counseling. Dr. Rances serves as a preceptor for the Critical Care learning experience.
Rupangi (Soni) Rastogi, PharmD, BCPS
Dr. Rastogi is the Infectious Disease Clinical Specialist at Nyack Hospital focusing on Antimicrobial Stewardship. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Connecticut and completed an ASHP-accredited PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital. After residency, she stayed on to work as a Multi-Specialty Clinical Pharmacist for 2 years and then transitioned into the role of a Neuroscience pharmacist for 1 year prior to joining Nyack Hospital. She enjoys and has experience teaching students from various schools of pharmacy, as well as both PGY-1 and PGY-2 pharmacy residents.

Alexandra Harris, PharmD
Dr. Alexandra Harris earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, VT. Throughout pharmacy school she has gained experience working in various pharmacy practice areas such as mail order pharmacy, outpatient and inpatient pharmacy at the University of Vermont Medical Center. Her professional interests include critical care and infectious diseases.
Reema Mody, PharmD
Dr. Reema Mody earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Nova Southeastern University in FL. Throughout her academic career she has gained experience in emergency medicine, critical care, patient counseling, and medication therapy management. Her professional interests include emergency medicine, critical care and ambulatory care.
