Bump on the Head or Something More?

In this informal yet informational session, Dr. Andrew Kobets, pediatric neurosurgeon at Children’s Hospital at Montefiore, will discuss the types of head injuries children may experience. Parents and caregivers will learn symptoms to differentiate between a bump or severe head injury or a serious condition. Dr. Kobets will discuss signs that would allow for safe observation at home to troublesome symptoms that should prompt a trip to the emergency room.
