The Infusion Center Coordinator will create a customer friendly environment utilizing exemplary customer service skills. The coordinator will greet patients upon entry to the unit, obtain demographic information from patients and family, pre-register patients scheduled for the unit, support the operational workflow of the infusion unit and maintain a well-organized and friendly environment. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Utilizing skills in a variety of trades (electrical, carpentry, plumbing etc.) performs preventive maintenance, repairs, installations and alterations to equipment throughout the hospital. Responsible for all Life Safety issues and PM’s including fire extinguishers, automatic doors, fire/smoke doors and emergency lighting at the hospital and offsite facilities. Maintains log and follows up on all PFI issues as required by JCAHO.
