Dr. Andrew I. Gitkind, MD, Medical Director of the Department of Rehabilitation at Montefiore Nyack Hospital
Dr. Gitkind is a board-certified physician in physical medicine and rehabilitation. He earned his medical doctorate from St. George’s University in Grenada, completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation and fellowship training in interventional pain management, both at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY. Dr. Gitkind also serves as the Vice Chair for Clinical Operations for the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Montefiore Medical Center and is the Medical Director of the Montefiore Spine Center. Ranjith T. Kuruvilla, PT, DPT, Director of Rehabilitation Services at Montefiore Nyack Hospital
Ranjith T. Kuruvilla, PT, DPT, is the Director of Rehabilitation Services at Montefiore Nyack Hospital. He has over 27 years of experience practicing physical therapy and offers a broad range of treatments to restore functionality and alleviate disability. Ranjith has extensive experience treating patients of all ages, with a special interest in orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, musculoskeletal disorders, post-surgical rehabilitation, and neurological disorders. He earned his MS in Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland, Australia, and his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Utica College, Utica, NY.
