Cell Phone Charger
Forgot to bring a cell phone charger? Ask a member of the nursing team for one—we have them readily available for our patients.
Comfort Kits
Hospitals can be bright and noisy. We give all our patients a Comfort Kit, which includes a sleep mask, earplugs and toiletries. Headphones for the TV are also available by request—just contact the TV Representative at 845-348-6798 or the Patient Experience Department at 845-348-6778.
Free Wi-Fi
While you’re in the hospital, we understand how important it is to stay connected! Patients and visitors alike can use “Nyack Hospital Wi-fi” with our compliments.
HarpTherapy
Our certified clinical musician offers live therapeutic harp music for patients to enhance physical, emotional, mental and spiritual wellbeing. Whether your preference is soothing or upbeat, you can arrange for our harpist to visit you during your stay as a patient by calling 845-348-2181.
Inpatient Dining
At Montefiore Nyack Hospital, being an inpatient doesn’t mean having no choice about what you eat. Our “At Your Request” program provides bedside menus with a great selection of choices. Tell us what you’re craving and we’ll help you select something delicious that your doctor will approve of. While the kitchen is open, order when the mood strikes. Your meal will be delivered to your room by a host or hostess within a set time.

If you’d like the newspaper delivered to your room, contact the Gift Shop at 845-348-2210. Prices vary depending on the day of the week.
Pet Therapy
A bedside visit from a certified pet therapy dog and handler can lift spirits and help patients relax, cope with stress or feelings of isolation to improve healing opportunities. If you wish to have a visit with a therapy dog, please call our Volunteer Services office at 845-348-2181 or ask your Nurse Manager for assistance.
