This recipe provides lots of protein, good fats and flavor and can be used as a snack, side dish or is the perfect gift to bring to a party.
Makes 6 servings
Ingredients:
- ¼ cup sesame seeds
 - 4 tbsp olive oil
 - 1 large can (15 oz) chickpeas, rinsed and drained
 - ¼ cup lemon juice
 - 1 garlic clove
 - ½ tsp ground cumin
 - 2 tbsp water
 - Salt and pepper to taste
 
To serve:
- Dash of paprika
 - Baby carrots
 - Celery sticks
 
Directions: 
1.    Add sesame seeds and 2 tbs olive oil to a food processor and mix until creamy.
2.    Add all other ingredients and mix until smooth. If hummus is too thick add 1 more tablespoon water.
3.    Ladle hummus into a bowl, sprinkle it with paprika, and serve with carrots and celery or your favorite vegetables.
